CHRISTMAS; We did not quite get the White Christmas we were expecting but the festive season passed of peacefully in the locality, although icy roads made travelling difficult. The Christmas Eve Mass was well attended, and the choir sang beautifully. Wrenboy numbers on St Stephen’s Day were down on previous years. Many exiles returned home to spend time with family and friends and were warmly welcomed.

RUGBY; Abbeyfeale RFC Lotto Draw is now up and running with the jackpot starting at €1,500. Tickets are available in all the main local outlets as well as from committee members and sellers.
