MUNSTER ON THE MOVE!

A superb team performance complimented by the 100% kicking return from captain Ronan O’Gara earned Munster a 29-16 victory over Llanelli Scarlets at a rain drenched and bitterly cold Stradey Park on Saturday and propelled them to the top of their league section,
O’Gara landed five penalties and converted the tries scored by David Wallace and Marcus Horan and was afterwards deservedly awarded the Man of The Match trophy..
Munster face Llanelli again next weekend in Thomond Park. Their fate now lies very much in their own hands, and the final match of the league campaign, against Wasps in Thomond Park, will be the decisive one.
A large Abbeyfeale contingent travelled to Stradey Park on Saturday and, while all were drenched to the skin during the game, they agreed that it was a marvellous occasion and well worth getting wet for!
Expect another full house in Thomond Park on Saturday.
And still no white smoke coming from FAI headquarters as the search for a new soccer manager continues. Terry Venables still appears favourite, with Liam Brady and Arie Haan of Holland also in the frame. No mention of Jose Murinio so far, but could the lads in Merrion Square be about to pull a rabbit out of the hat.
And what about the new dream team – Mick McCarthy and Roy Keane?
To quote Victor Meldrew; “I don’t believe it!”
