You’ve heard of Fr Casey’s,
Chernobyl and The Rag.
The Fleadh and Search & Rescue,
And a title in the bag.

Forget not Paul O’Sullivan,
And brilliant Robert Browne;
And trainer, Tom Fitzgerald
From the bar below the town.

In goals was Thomas Enright,
The corner back is Flynn;
We have Mike Sheehy and Padraig Cahill.
We’re champions once again.

Barry Sheehy and Timmy Gleeson
Were hungry for the ball;
We have athletic Eamon Leahy,
Eamon Flaherty brave and tall.

We have Kevin Sheehy and Maurice Murphy,
Danny O’Connor tried and true.
John Colbert and McAuley
Urged on the boys in blue.

We have captain Michael Galvin;
Martin Scannell was a star;
He got his prize from Johnny
Inside in Barrett’s Bar.

Father Casey’s were unlucky
When they moved outside the west.
They failed to Ballylanders
In a semi-final test.
